The project consisted of road widening of the intersection which included batter and shoulder widening extensions (including earthworks, subgrade and pavement layer construction activities) of various widths as well as culvert works, subsoil drainage seal works, traffic management, pavement marking and more.

The D&P Team has been working alongside PTM Group and Parks Australia in delivering an important project within the Kakadu National Park consisting of upgrading the East Alligator Rangers Station. 
The project included building construction, building refurbishments, services installation and a wide range of civil construction.

Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (DLI) plays a pivotal role in overseeing essential subdivision and housing development for existing, vacant, and newly developed lots in remote Northern Territory communities. These works serve to address severe overcrowding in NT remote communities as part of the Australian Governments $2.2 Billion commitment under the “Our Communities. Our Futures. Our Homes.” Program. D&P manages the subdivision and infill housing projects across the NT regions: Big Rivers West, East Arnhem, Tiwi,and Barkly.

The project involved a comprehensive inspection of over 300 Parks and Wildlife assets, with the goal of conducting a detailed condition assessment of each asset and its individual components to determine their remaining lifespan. This assessment contributed to a comprehensive report, which includes an evaluation of the asset’s current condition, projected lifespan, and recommendations for necessary upgrades. Additionally, the report provides a cost estimate for the restoration or replacement of components to ensure the continued functionality and safety of the assets.

The project consisted of upgrading approximately 11.8 Kilometres of existing 4WD track to an 8m wide road to improve accessibility on the Point Stuart Road to the Point Stuart Boat Ramp.

The project included major earthworks, civil works, drainage works and road safety.

The project focused on a significant intersection improvements entailing an expansion of the road width, along with batter and shoulder widening extensions. The responsibilities spanned a range of tasks, including earthworks, subgrade development, pavement layer construction, and the installation of electrical infrastructure to facilitate the newly integrated street lighting. Additionally, the project incorporated asphalt surfacing and subsoil works, along with seal activities, thorough traffic management, pavement marking, and various other critical components.

The $8.2 million project involved the coordination of five construction packages across civil, electrical, hydraulic, landscaping and specialist racetrack works. Responsibilities included project planning, procurement support, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, risk management, program monitoring and construction oversight.

Key works included drainage and service upgrades, underground electrical infrastructure, pit lane areas, landscaping, fencing and the placement of approximately 45,000m³ of specialised track material.

The project was successfully delivered within a fixed international event deadline, enabling Darwin to host the 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship.
